This painting is currently on display with the Pieces of Eight art exhibit at the Melbourne International Airport. We are exhibiting oil paintings, wall hangings, digital art, hand-colored photos and watercolors. The artists exhibiting are Kathy Garvey, Denette Schweikert, Carol Schiff, Donna Vines, Mary Warnick and me.
If you happen to be traveling through the Melbourne Airport, pause to enjoy our exhibit. It is inside the Security Area.
BIOGRAPHY
Carmen Beecher is a native Floridian who worked many years for the Air Force as an award-winning Illustrator. Primarily an oil painter, she has extensive experience in graphic arts, book illustration and custom murals. Four of her paintings are in the permanent Air Force Art Collection.
Published work includes book illustrations, calendars and card designs for MasterCard. She conceived, wrote and illustrated three comic strips: two for the Air Force and one for a publication with a circulation of 60,000.
PERSONAL OPINION
This picture I have chosen I liked it , because I see very creative and I like creative things , also does not seem to seem to be real a picture. I have seen many pictures and all look like very simple and this it is but I see it different from other.
