How movies are made in the ocean

If shooting outside  the water it’s difficult, imagine how difficult it’s shooting inside it.

You have to use the movie techniques you would use to do a ‘’normal’’ movie , and then you would  have to applique the new ones you learn about how to make a good movie inside water.

• Over the shoulder shots: a shot with an actor’s shoulder in the foreground, out of focus.

• Tilt shots: Tilting up or down is one of the simplest camera techniques there are.

• Panning shots: Panning the shot is the horizontal equivalent of tilt shots.

• Zoom shots:  The way to make zoom shots truly effective and “creepy” is to make them absolutely smooth and not too fast.

Shooting inside water techniques

•     Hold Still: Avoid shaky movements.
•  Move around a little: Videos are more interesting if they contain a variety of shots.Videos are more interesting if they contain a variety of shots.

• Use a Tripod: It's almost impossible to hold the camera completely steady - especially in the frequently-surgey waters here in Southern California.

Personal opinion
I think that it's easier to shot a movie in ''normal'' conditions , because shooting a movie with special water cameras it's very expensive.
